Perancangan Antarmuka Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode User-Centered Design (UCD): Studi Kasus Perpustakaan Surakarta

Abstract

Information system interface design plays a crucial role in improving user effectiveness in carrying out administrative activities. This study designed a web-based library information system interface using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method. UCD was chosen because it places the user at the center of the design process, enabling the resulting display and workflow to adapt to user needs. The research object was the AMIKOM Surakarta Campus Library, with library administrators as the primary users. The research was conducted through the stages of needs analysis, wireframe creation, high-fidelity prototyping, user evaluation of the design, and design revision. The results showed that the resulting interface design supports more structured data management and facilitates administrators in carrying out operational tasks.
