Abstract

The Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association is a company that provides regional internet network provider services in the province of South Sumatra and the absence of APJII employees has been done manually by recording them in a book every day and storing them in a filing cabinet. With this system, several problems arise in searching for period absence data which takes quite a long time. Employee attendance and punctuality are often used as indicators in assessing employee performance. Employee absenteeism greatly influences work productivity in achieving company goals. employee attendance information system to manage data related to employee absences. The design of the Employee Attendance Information System in this research was built using the Linear sequential model method which consists of the stages of gathering requirements, planning, design, implementation and testing, but in the design it only uses 4 stages, namely gathering requirements, planning, design and documentation. UML (Unified Model Language) is also used as a modeling tool in the system analysis and design stages. By implementing the employee attendance information system at the APJII Office, it is hoped that it can help in managing employee attendance data and improve agency performance.
