Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the understanding of fauna in grade 3 students at SD Negeri Singopuran 03 by using a modified board game learning media, namely the Fauna Educational Ladder. The ADDIE model was used to conduct the development research. The results showed that using this learning media can increase students' interest in learning and understanding of fauna material. Based on questionnaires distributed to 25 students, 97,33% of students understood the rules of the game and were actively involved in the learning process. This study recommends the use of various game-based learning media, as well as the creation of a digital version of this board game for future research. The results of this study are expected to provide an alternative learning media that is fun and interactive for elementary school students.
