Abstract

The culinary industry in Indonesia is rapidly evolving, prompting business owners to innovate in providing convenience to consumers. GEN SEBLAK, a culinary business located in Karanganyar with a buffet concept, faces issues of long queues and inefficiency due to traditional ordering methods. To address these problems, a web-based self-service system was designed, allowing customers to order via their smartphones by scanning a barcode. This system is expected to enhance time efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve customer satisfaction. The research method employed is qualitative with a prototyping approach. The adoption of self-service technology is anticipated to help SMEs like GEN SEBLAK become more efficient and competitive in the continuously evolving market.
