Abstract

The digital creative industry faces significant challenges in maintaining content security and authenticity, especially in photography, which is vulnerable to cyber threats such as plagiarism, copyright theft, and image manipulation. This paper examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technology with photography as an approach to counter these threats. AI technology, primarily in the form of image recognition and watermarking, enables automatic detection of copyright violations and manipulation of visual content with high accuracy. This integration not only enhances the protection of photographic works but also has the potential to strengthen the security infrastructure within the digital creative economy as a whole. Through case study analysis and simulation, this research finds that AI provides substantial added value in detecting and preventing cyber threats that could harm the reputation and economic value of creative works. Despite its benefits, several challenges remain, such as implementation costs and ethical issues related to data privacy. Therefore, this study offers recommendations to enhance collaboration between creative industry players and technology experts to create a safe and sustainable ecosystem for the creative economy in the digital era.
