User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design play a crucial role in the success of web-based applications, particularly in the context of higher education. This study aims to develop the Web FessUp application as a communication solution for student aspirations at STMIK Amikom Surakarta. The application is expected to facilitate students in expressing complaints, suggestions, and aspirations easily and securely. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology was utilized to accelerate the development process through several phases: planning, design, development, and implementation. In the planning phase, user requirements were identified through a comprehensive analysis, followed by system design using use case and activity diagrams. The development stage involved the use of Next.js and PostgreSQL to ensure fast and reliable system performance. The findings indicate that the RAD method enables a flexible and efficient development cycle, while the implementation of responsive UI/UX design encourages active student engagement. The implementation of Web FessUp in the campus environment demonstrates that this application can enhance student participation in conveying their aspirations, serving as a reference for the development of similar systems in other educational institutions.
