Perancangan Sistem Informasi Inventaris Barang Berbasis Web pada DISPORA Sumatera Selatan

Abstract

Effective inventory management is a critical need for government agencies, such as the Youth and Sports Office (DISPORA) of South Sumatra, to ensure smooth operational activities. However, the existing manual inventory system often leads to issues, including recording errors and delays in accessing accurate information. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory information system for DISPORA South Sumatra to facilitate more effective and real-time processes for inventory data recording, monitoring, and reporting. The methodology used in this study includes problem identification, problem exploration, literature review, and problem analysis. The results of this research present a web-based information system that enhances inventory data accuracy, expedites the recording process, and improves access to information regarding DISPORA South Sumatra’s assets. With the implementation of this system, DISPORA is expected to manage assets more efficiently and transparently.
