A website-based attendance system has become an effective solution to overcome various challenges in recording employee attendance in the company. This research aims to design and implement a website-based attendance system that prioritizes data efficiency and security. In this study, cryptographic techniques are applied to protect employee data from unauthorized access, as well as ensure that attendance data can be accessed quickly and easily by users. The test results show that this system improves the accuracy of attendance recording, reduces human error, and gets positive feedback from users. Thus, this system is expected to be adopted by companies to improve the operation and security of employee attendance data.
