Perancangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Karang Taruna Berbasis Website Menggunakan Metode Prototype untuk Digitalisasi Organisasi

Abstract

This study discusses the design, evaluation, testing, and implementation of a web-based management information system for Karang Taruna, focusing on managing activity schedules, member data, and financial records. The development process included creating an initial prototype, conducting internal evaluations, and refining the system based on feedback, such as adding interactive charts to the dashboard, implementing date filters for financial records, simplifying member input forms, and adding active or inactive status indicators. Black box testing results showed that all features functioned according to the design, covering dashboard management, activity schedules, member data, financial categories, and transaction recording. The system’s implementation in Karang Taruna resulted in positive impacts, including easier real-time financial monitoring, better-organized activity scheduling, and well-documented transaction records. Initial maintenance focused on optimizing queries for faster dashboard loading and improving interface responsiveness, ensuring the system operates effectively and sustainably.
