Abstract

Learning to read the Koran is an important component in Islamic education which begins with the introduction of hijaiyah letters. Currently, learning to recognize hijaiyah letters at the Bustanul Athfal Aisyiyah Jagoan Boyolali Kindergarten still uses conventional methods, namely by using the Iqra' book. Even though this method has been proven to be effective, it is often unable to attract the attention and interest of children who tend to feel bored. To overcome this problem, a multimedia-based interactive learning media application was developed specifically for the introduction of hijaiyah letters. This application utilizes multimedia components such as text, images, audio, video and interactive animation to create a more fun and interesting learning atmosphere for children. This research aims to improve the quality of hijaiyah letter learning in the Bustanul Athfal Aisyiyah Jagoan Boyolali Kindergarten through the application of innovative multimedia technology
