Abstract

This research evaluates the effectiveness of the risk control process at PT Pusri Palembang using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). As a fertilizer industry company, PT Pusri faces complex operational risks, requiring a systematic approach to identify, analyze, and manage risks. BPMN is used to model the risk control flow, with the aim of increasing transparency and efficiency in every stage of the process, from identification to risk clarification. Through this modeling, PT Pusri is able to visualize processes that were previously difficult to monitor in a structured manner, as well as facilitate knowledge transfer among Risk Officers, who often change. The evaluation results show that the BPMN approach has successfully improved inter-departmental coordination and minimized the negative impact of existing risks, with a more directed workflow. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the application of BPMN in risk management in similar industries, to support the sustainability and resilience of company operations.
