Abstract

The use of various learning methods for school children in the digital era is very important to maintain involvement and motivation in learning activities, one of which is the use of interactive multimedia-based learning media. There are various methods that can be used to create interactive multimedia-based learning media, including the DDD-E model which starts from the decide, design, develop, and evaluate stages. The process of developing learning media for introducing animal groups based on their food based on interactive multimedia was successfully carried out which included a main menu, learning materials, learning videos, and was equipped with quizzes and word guessing. From the results of black box testing, starting from the buttons to connect menus or actions, it was successfully carried out and the test results showed appropriate results. It is hoped that the use of interactive multimedia based on Adobe Flash in learning activities can be an effective option for creating interesting learning experiences for school children and so that they do not get bored.
